Cancer Cartel: A Beacon of Financial Hope for Cancer Warriors

In the battle against cancer, the emotional and physical tolls are often discussed, but the financial strain remains an underrepresented aspect of the struggle. Cancer Cartel, a grassroots nonprofit organization, is stepping in to fill this gap. Founded by three cancer survivors—Shelly Tinney-Miller, Katy Tinney, and Kerry Solmonsen—the organization aims to provide direct financial assistance to those battling cancer. From gas money to groceries and mortgage payments, Cancer Cartel is committed to alleviating the financial burden that often accompanies a cancer diagnosis. In just four years, the organization has granted nearly $600,000 directly to cancer patients, demonstrating the profound impact of their work.
