New research from ASICS reveals that the secret to better mental health might be just outside your front door. According to Body+Soul, the brand’s “Everyday Escape” trial found that a simple 15-minute daily movement break boosted participants’ mental wellbeing by 21 per cent—outperforming traditional wellness retreats that cost Aussies an average of $2,161. The study, led by Dr Brendon Stubbs of King’s College London, showed that 71 per cent of participants found daily exercise reduced stress more effectively than luxury getaways. With 81 per cent saying they’ll now prioritise movement over expensive retreats, ASICS hopes to redefine wellness as something accessible, free, and part of everyday life.
